ABOUT ME, EMERY!

Hello, my name is Emery Smith(He/They). I am originally from Dublin, Ohio. I received a BFA in Technical Theatre and Design with a minor in Studio Art from Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio. Then moved to Brooklyn to complete The Juilliard Professional Apprenticeship Program. Currently I am working on my third summer at The Glimmerglass festival in Cooperstown, NY. This is my first summer serving as Prop Floor Supervisor. I look forward to a great summer and then to returning to the city to freelance in props. I also enjoy sculpting, painting, drawing comics and writing poetry. In the future I look forward to attending grad school and eventually becoming a professor and a prop floor supervisor full time. Thanks for reading to the bottom of a huge chunk of text.
